Piper the dog was adopted from a shelter after being abused by previous owners.
When found, she suffered from malnutrition and heart worms and was too afraid to even be touched.
She was immediately adopted by a new owner, who gave her her first bed.
After some time, Piper’s owner started to notice the dog would panic and claw at her shortly before her seizure episodes. Piper was then registered and trained as a service animal and was able to warn her owner of seizures coming on.
Now the two go everywhere together. Piper is healthy again and loving her new life.
They’re both lucky to have found each other.
